Equitas Small Finance Bank Raises Interest Rates on Personal Savings and Term Deposits

Equitas Small Finance Bank announced the revision of interest rates for savings and retail term deposits from March 21, 2022.

Customers can now enjoy 7% interest per annum on the savings account for balances above Rs 5 lakh up to Rs 2 crore, which was previously above Rs 5 lakh up to Rs 50 lakh, allowing more customers to earn more interest from savings.



Seniors can now earn maximum benefits as the Bank offers them an additional 0.50% flat rate on top of the existing revised rates on RTDs. For FD, seniors can now earn interest at 7.25% per year for 888 days and others can earn up to 6.75% per year. As for RD, seniors can get 7% per annum and others can get up to 6.5% interest per annum for 24 days. month.
